Contacting us over the festive season
Information about our opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period and how you can contact us
Over the Christmas and New Year period, we will be closed on the following dates:
December 25, 26 and 27 – Closed
January 1 - Closed
We will open again as usual on January 2.
Our phone lines will close at 3:00pm on December 24 and December 31. Our mailbox, HIW@gov.wales will still be monitored until 4:30pm on those days.
Normal operating hours will apply on all other days.
What to do if you have a concern
If you are concerned about the care you, a relative or friend have received or are currently receiving, please contact your local health board to discuss your concerns.
If you then want to inform us of your concern, please fill out our contact form.
If you are a healthcare worker and you want to raise a concern
If you have concerns about something happening where you work which might affect patients, your colleagues, or the whole organisation, information can be found on our whistleblowing page.
Safeguarding referral
If you’re concerned that a child or adult in your family or community may be at risk of harm, abuse or neglect, you can contact social services in your area to report a safeguarding concern. Visit the Welsh Government website for contact details at the following links:
