Healthcare Inspectorate Wales exhibited at The Royal College of Midwives St David’s Day Conference on 28 February at Cardiff City Stadium to celebrate this year’s theme: ‘Belong, Thrive, Unite – Celebrating midwifery in Wales’.
The conference celebrated midwifery and highlighted the good practices across Wales.
Speakers from across the midwifery community shared their fascinating and inspiring journeys through the midwifery profession, celebrating excellent practice and improvements within Wales. This was a great opportunity for us to connect with students and professional midwives, as well as other organisations taking part such as Llais, Improvement Cymru & Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW).
The event provided a valuable platform for HIW to actively promote its NHS inspection and independent healthcare regulation activities in Wales and to showcase our work in helping drive improvements across Wales’s health services.
